Group Visits

Group Visit of between 10 and 50 people can be accommodated by arrangement for daytime or evening visits.

“A Taste of Victorian Lessons” includes an introductory talk, a guided tour and a taught half-hour lesson in the Gallery Classroom. In place of the lesson, an in-depth talk on the history of the British Schools (or on a range of other subjects - see 'Museum Talks' below) can be arranged.

We also have a range of delicious catering options.

Groups should allow at least 2 hours for their visit, you will be amazed at how much there is to see and do!

One classroom – the Gallery Classroom – is not currently fully accessible. There are at least three steps to reach the classroom. Entry to the Head Master’s house is over a few small steps and the first floor is accessed via a narrow curved staircase.

Group visits can be varied to enable visitors with disabilities to fully experience the site and understand its history. Shorter, customised visits are also available for children's and young people's groups. Please telephone in advance to discuss your needs.
