Another ‘Sweet’ Success
Once again, our volunteers have braved adverse weather conditions to fundraise for the museum. A team of 13 dedicated volunteers (and numerous other bakers) set up a stall in the Hitchin Market Square on Saturday 28th April, to sell their baked goods in aid of the museum.
The weather may have been poor- temperatures not even reaching 10°c- yet the turnout was not. The stall raised a total of £221.50 for the museum, and gave us the chance to promote our cause to the public.
Don’t worry if you missed it this time- you can find us there again in September. If you can’t wait until then, pop into our Tea Room at the museum (free entry and open during public hours) to sample some of our delicious homemade treats!
