Artists’ Network Bedfordshire (ANB) is a vibrant artist-led organisation that aims to act as a voice for practising artists in Bedfordshire. In the several group shows that ANB organises each year, it promotes original works of art and craft created by artists living or working in Bedfordshire and the surrounding counties. It also supports the work of the artists who form the four local Hubs of the ANB. The work produced by its members covers the full spectrum of the visual arts and crafts.
The ANB’s show at the British Schools Museum from 19-21 July is our latest venture in Hertfordshire, having previously held group shows in Letchworth and Stevenage. There will be 30 artists and crafters showing their work, ranging from paintings in watercolour, acrylics and oil, to artwork in experimental techniques. Subject matter will range from the realistic to the abstract. Several artists create prints in the various techniques and there will be a broad range of craft – kiln-formed glass, wood-turning, resin sculpture, textiles and jewellery. Something for everyone, so do visit!
Friday 19th July 18.00 to 20.00; Saturday 20th July 10.00 to 16.00; and Sunday 21st 10.00 to 16.00. It is free entry to the ANB’s show.
